Conference Summary

Over 175 attendees from 23 countries participated in the dynamic two-day event. Speakers from France, Italy, Belgium, Germany, The Netherlands, Denmark, Spain, the UK and the United States offered the audience insights into models of care, where we are and where we may be going in treatment of disorders of consciousness. The conference concluded with an in-depth discussion on ethical issues in the treatment of disorders of consciousness.

Conference Summary

Over 175 attendees from 23 countries participated in the dynamic two-day event. Speakers from France, Italy, Belgium, Germany, The Netherlands, Denmark, Spain, the UK and the United States offered the audience insights into models of care, where we are and where we may be going in treatment of disorders of consciousness, and they took a look at the models of care in different countries. The conference concluded with an in-depth discussion on ethical issues in the treatment of disorders of consciousness.

The group plans to hold a full day conference in conjunction with the 14th World Congress on Brain Injury, March 28-April 1, 2023, in Dublin, Ireland. Program details will be available in late 2022.
