NABIS Research, Innovation, Dissemination and Education (R.I.D.E.) Consortium

Goal

The new NABIS Research, Innovation, Dissemination and Education (R.I.D.E.) Consortium seeks to advance multidisciplinary translational brain injury research, promoting the dissemination of clinical best practices, and improving the quality-of-life outcomes for individuals and families affected by brain injuries.

Program Activities

Research Grants

Facilitate research with consumer involvement through seed grants.

Collaboration

Develop coalition relationships with professional societies, state and national brain injury organizations to keep track of and collaborate on brain injury field initiatives

Special Interest Groups

Both NABIS and IBIA has special interest groups that facilitate professional development and a great sense of collaboration.

Pilot and Feasibility Projects

Disseminate awareness and uptake of Clinical Best Practices, Enhance professional and consumer resource navigation and Promote innovative demonstration projects

Webinars & Podcasts

Disseminate novel innovative research and topics related to clinical best practices in regularly scheduled broadcasts.

Educational Scholarships

Provide scholarships to emerging researchers and clinicians in the field of brain injury.

Education

Expand educational initiatives beyond the annual conference.

Current activities

R.I.D.E. Consortium is busy working creating educational scholarships, small research grants and pilot programs, such as the NABIS Bridge. Information will be posted shortly about all these amazing initiatives.
