Dawn Neumann, PhD, FACRM, a member of the NABIS Board, is collaborating with Ken Witkowich, the co-founder of Leave No Mind Behind, 501 c(3) - a charity dedicated to providing free critical mental health training and support for Ukrainian clinicians. They are in serious need of mental health professionals to help address the profound psychological aspects of their war injuries. They are asking for help in the form of a single online training session, with a maximum duration of two hours, typically split between a lecture and a Q&A. Expertise is particularly needed in the following areas:
● Neuro-Rehabilitation for TBI
● Continuous long-term community reintegration
● Somatopsychic trauma
● Depression and loss of autonomy in severe polytrauma
● Substance abuse and traumatic pain management
