Lawyers representing clients with a brain injury not only have to distill the science of a brain injury into understandable concepts for the jury, but they also have to teach the jury how to respect the losses the brain injured victim has suffered. These teaching moments come from treating doctors, lay witnesses, and family members. In this presentation, Mike Neff will explore ways to merge the science of a brain injury with trial strategies to ensure that the jury understands the harms and losses the plaintiff has suffered.
