Session Summary:

In less than 30 years, sixty percent (60%) of all Americans will be “un-testable” with the current largely mono-lingual, mono-cultural neuropsychological evaluations, which indicates that a significant portion of our diverse population is un-testable right now. This presentation explores biases in neuropsychological testing from microaggressions to a lack of diverse normative standards to race-adjusted test scores. The goal is to expose the negative affect of biases on test performance, data interpretation and the overall validity of the evaluation.
