The IBIA World Congress on Brain Injury welcomes the submission of original research and clinical findings on a broad range of brain injury topics and subspecialties. Submissions will be peer-reviewed and accepted abstracts will be presented oral presentations or posters during the Congress held in Dublin. All accepted abstracts will be published in a special edition of IBIA’s official journal, Brain Injury.

An accepted scientific paper will be presented during an oral presentation or as a poster. Oral presentation will be 10 minutes in length including questions and discussion. Posters are graphic presentations of a scientific paper.

Registration Requirements

If your abstract is accepted for presentation at the IBIA World Congress, the presenting author is required to register for the meeting by the presenter registration deadline. If the presenting author does not register for the IBIA World Congress by this deadline, their abstract could be withdrawn from the program and will not be published in Brain Injury. Additional registration details will be provided in the acceptance email.

Abstract Publication & Poster Awards

All accepted papers and posters will be published and indexed in IBIA’s official journal Brain Injury. Accepted posters will have the opportunity to be considered for IBIA Awards. The World Congress on Brain Injury has limited competitive spots for oral presentation. Those submitted with a preference for oral presentation will also be considered for poster presentation if slots for oral are filled.
