Stewart Casper is a principal in the Stamford, CT law firm of Casper & de Toledo LLC. He is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and he graduated from the Hofstra University School of Law. He is a former Chairperson of AAJ’s Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Group. He was the Editor-in-Chief of the TBILG Newsletter prior to assuming the Chairmanship of the TBILG. For many years, Stewart has been nationally recognized as a source for the most current scientific literature in brain injury and he has lectured throughout the U.S. and Canada about ways to use literature to win.

Stewart is a Past President of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association (1996-97) and served as a member of the American Association for Justice’s Board of Governors from 2006-2015. In addition, Stewart is listed in the Best Lawyers in America ® for both Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation and he has been recognized in “New York”, “Westchester” & “Connecticut” Magazines under the “Superlawyers” designation since its inception in 2006. His firm has been recognized by U.S. News – Best Lawyers® “Tier 1” for personal injury and plaintiff’s employment law work. In 2015, he was inducted into the Connecticut Law Tribune’s Hall of Fame in two separate categories for unusual cases tried to verdict in 2014.

Stewart is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and he is certified in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Connecticut and New York.
