Pre and Post-Congress Tours

Advance reservation and payment is required for pre and post conference tours. This reservation must reach the secretariat before March 15, 2001. Minimum number of participants is 40. The following cancellation policy will apply to tours:

50% forfeiture
100% forfeiture

The rate for the tour includes:

Accommodation in four-star hotels

MAP (breakfast and one meal per day)

English speaking guide

Entrance fee to museums/monuments

Price per person in double/twin room

Half-Day Tours

Half-day tours of Turin (May 7, 45.000 Lire), the world-famous Egyptian Museum (May 5, 35.000 Lire) and Turin Royal Palace and Armeria Reale (May 9, 35.000 Lire) will be available for sign-ups on site during the Congress.

One Day Tours

A) May 6 - Castle Tour

B) May 8 - The Langhe Area
The tour comprises the city of Alba, a historic Barolo wine cellar with wine-tasting, lunch at the restaurant "Belvedere" at La Morra, the very best cuisine in the area, and a guided tour of one of the castles in the area (Castello di Falletti at Barolo, Castello di Grinzane Cavour, Castello di Cherasco, Castello di Mango).

Domestic Tours

C) Venezia

(3 days/2 nights)

02 May: Venice
Arrival in Venice in the morning, accommodation in upper four-star hotel. Afternoon: guided tour of the city, dinner in a typical restaurant.
03 May: Venice
Guided tour of the city, lunch and afternoon at leisure, dinner in a typical restaurant, return to the hotel.
04 May: Venice-Turin
Venice - Turin by coach, lunch free during the journey, visit of palladian villas on route.

D) Florence and Rome
(4 days/3 nights)

09 May: Turin-Florence
Afternoon departure to Florence by luxury coach, transfer to upper four-star hotel, dinner in a typical restaurant.
10 May: Florence
Guided tour of the city, lunch during the tour, dinner free, return to hotel.
11 May: Florence-Rome
Florence - Rome by coach, lunch free during the journey. At Rome, half-day tour of the city, farewell dinner in a typical restaurant, return to the hotel.
12 May: Rome
Half-day tour of the city visiting Villa Borghese, lunch in a restaurant, transfer by coach directly to the airport.
