About%20the%203rd%20World%20Congress

Picture the blend: strong French traditions and a sophisticated way of life coupled with the omnipresent British military heritage and romantic Victorian architecture. All of this in an exclusive location, perched high atop ³Cap Diamant² surrounded by some of the world's oldest mountain chains and dominating the majestic St. Lawrence River.

This incredible combination offers the best of both worlds: the rich culture of its European ancestors and the comfort of North American standards. Whatever your fancy, Québec City will surprise you with its unique culture and savoir faire!

The birthplace of French civilization in North America, Québec City still retains much of its continental heritage. Narrow winding streets, vintage stone homes, the ancient stone walls still visible throughout the city, and of course, the French language all combine to create a distinctly European flavor to this city. Whether your fancy is culture, cuisine, or sports, Québec City and the surrounding region offer countless attractions to visitors.
