The International Brain Injury Association's 3rd World Congress
on Brain Injury, The Search for Solutions, will be held June 12-17,
1999 in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. You will want to participate
in this important international gathering that attracts a large
number of medical and health care professionals (physicians, nurses,
psychologists, trauma center personnel and therapists) as well as
family members, insurers and case managers, attorneys, and service
providers.
We invite and encourage you to submit abstracts. This is your opportunity
to present new ideas related to brain injury research, outcome studies,
rehabilitation methods and community-based programs or services.
We anticipate receiving a large number of proposals that will add
to the high quality of this international gathering.
Abstracts must be submitted on the official Poster and Paper Proposal
Form that follows and mailed to arrive no later than December 31,
1998. The Review Committee will acknowledge receipt of proposal
and advise as to selection decision.

Please note that all accepted poster and paper presenters must pay
all of their own expenses related to attending and they must register
for the conference.

prognosis
· Community supports and vocational models for persons with
brain injury

the life-span
· Professional development for practitioners in brain injury
programs
· Advocating for persons with brain injury
· Legal concerns
