Juliet Haarbauer-Krupa is a Health Scientist on the TBI Team, Division of Unintentional Injury, National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, CDC. Her background is in child development, clinical rehabilitation, and rehabilitation research with experience in clinical program development, academic teaching, and longitudinal outcome studies. She also serves as adjunct faculty in the Department of Pediatrics, Emory School of Medicine. Haarbauer-Krupa’s primary focus is on long-term health effects following TBI and outcomes for children and adolescents with brain injuries. She is a principal investigator for a longitudinal study funded by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR), a comprehensive model transition program for teens with acquired brain injuries, and a study to examine transition to adulthood across complex medical conditions.
