Welcome to the International Brain Injury Association’s 11th World Congress on Brain Injury!
Please find the following information below to help you be prepared for the congress on next week.
Open 7:00am – 6:00pm on Wednesday, March 2 - Saturday, March 5. Please stop by the registration desk to pick up your materials and badge. Your name badge is your admission; please keep it with you at all times.
The pre-congress day is not included with your congress registration; it is a separate purchase. If you would like to purchase a pre-congress session ticket at $225.00, please visit the registration desk.
Our IBIA 2016 World Congress app is where you will receive notifications, create connections, review abstracts and get additional information about the congress program during the course of the week. You will not want to go through the week without it!
To download the app:
1. Visit the Apple Store or Google Play and type “IBIA” and select “IBIA 2016 World Congress”
Visit ddut.ch/ibia into your phone web browser
2. Click download
3. When prompted, enter your email address
4. When prompted, enter your first name, last name, company, and any other accounts you would like linked to the app
5. Select Ok for “IBIA 2016 App notifications”
6. Select Ok for “Let Us know your location?”
7. Once complete, click the “check mark” in the upper right hand corner of your screen

The World Forum will have lunch service available for attendees in their cafes Thursday - Saturday. Their cafes offer healthy dining options, assorted sandwiches, hot entrees and a variety of drink selections available for a nominal charge. Additionally, within 15 minutes of The World Forum are more dining options open for you to explore.
A variety of educational credits can be obtained during your attendance at the congress. Full details are in the program, app, and on the IBIA website. All of the following steps must be completed to receive credits:
• Create an account in the credit site
• Complete the time record
• Complete session evaluations within 30 days of the conclusion of the meeting.
All completed attendance records are kept for 7 years. You will have access to replacement certificates during this time.
Congress Closing Gala/Reception
The Gala will take place Saturday, March 5 at 7:30pm at the Louwman Museum. There will be a limited number of tickets available at the registration desk for $110.00. We suggest purchasing your ticket early to ensure your spot. Buses will depart from the main conference entrance beginning at 7:30pm, please arrive no later than 7:15pm. Make sure to bring your gala ticket to be able to board the bus.
