Brain Injury Guidelines Rubin Family Brain Injury Research Grant Membership Information International NeuroTrauma Newsletter Membership Directory Conference Materials	Guideline Development The IBIA, in cooperation with other organizations, has supported the development of several evidence-based practice guidelines pertaining to brain injury. Clinical guidelines are meant to be a tool for the healthcare professional in determining appropriate courses of action for the person with brain injury. Importantly, these guidelines pertaining to brain injury are also expected to serve to identify critical issues for future research. Currently several Guideline taskforces are being supported in part by the IBIA: Mild Traumatic Brain Injury; Penetrating Head Injury; Pediatric and Adolescent Brain Injury; and Neurobehavioral Issues Following Brain Injury.
