Oral Presenter Information Page

 

Oral presenters at the Third International Conference on Paediatric Acquired Brain Injury are asked to note the information below. The Pre-conference, Symposiums and Oral Abstract Sessions will take place in Riddel Hall at Queens University. Please refer to the schedule, found here. Please be aware of the deadline below, displayed in red at the beginning of the section.

PRESENTATION TIME REQUIREMENTS

 

Oral Abstract Presenters

Thursday & Friday:
Oral Abstract presentations will be limited to 10 minutes in length:

  • 8 minutes for the Presentation 
  • 2 minutes for Questions & Answers

Pre-Conference & Symposia Speakers
  • Pre-conference sessions are five hours long sessions and will include a break in between.  Distribution of session time is at the discretion of the Chair.
  • Symposium sessions range between 60-90 minutes with breaks before and after.  Distribution of session time is at the discretion of the Chair.

 

PRESENTER AV INFORMATION

 

Oral Abstract Presenters, Pre-Conference and Symposia Speakers.

Please bring your final PowerPoint presentation file (16:9 Ratio) to the Conference on a flash drive to give to our AV technicians at least one day ahead of your presentation time (time frames and instructions will be emailed soon or can be found here). Please bring a backup copy as well. PLEASE NOTE: this will be your finalized PowerPoint slide deck and will need to be named as follows: Last Name, Day of Presentation, Title of Session (Doe-Thursday-Sport Concussion).

 

You may provide your file electronically via Dropbox - PowerPoint slide deck (16:9 Ratio) no later than September 25, 2018 at 11:59pm EST. After this date, bring your final presentation on a flash drive to give to Monica Rodgers onsite. In either case, bring a backup copy onsite.

If you would prefer to submit your presentation early, please name your file: Last Name, Day of Presentation, Title of Session (Doe-Thursday-Sport Concussion) and submit it to the appropriate link as follows:

  • LCD Projector (16:9 Ratio)
  • Screen
  • Microphone
