Guerrino Rosellini





Guerrino Rosellini is a Biomedical Mechanical Engineer and an Executive Prosthetist & Orthotist. He works as the Director of the “Department of Research and Development” in “ITOP SpA Officine Ortopediche”, an Italian company leader in design and production of Orthotics and Prosthetics. In the same company, he is the Technical Director of Production and Director of the Gait Analysis Laboratory. Since January 2017 he has served as Secretary of ISPO Italy (International Society of Prosthetics and Orthotics) and since 2016 he has been the Director of the degree course in “Orthopedic Techniques” at the faculty of medicine and Surgery of the University of “Rome Tor Vergata”. At the same University, he teaches “Mechanical Design and Machine Buildings” and “Mechanical and Thermal Measurements” since 2013. ITOP’s Department of Research and Development, under his direction, has obtained four industrial invention patents, including the “Ecological Rehabilitation Platform MMP”, a device applied in assessment and training of children affected by postural control problems. He is often asked as a lecturer and teacher in several medical and technical courses since 1998. He is the author of eight scientific publication, including two publications on Postural Control in children with CNS damage, and a Congress in Mechanical Engineer in which he referred about the Ecological Rehabilitation Platform.
