Alessandro Capuano





Alessandro Capuano is a Child Neurologist at the Bambino Gesú Children Hospital.

He was born in Italy in 1975. He obtained his degree in Medicine in 2001 from Catholic University in Rome. Afterward, he had the residency in Neurology in 2006 and a PhD in Neuroscience in 2010.

From 2010 to date he works as consultant neurologist at the Neurology Unit of Bambino Gesú Children Hospital.

His work is focused on diagnosis and treatment of Movement Disorders in Childhood, in particular primary and secondary dystonia, chorea, tremor, myoclonus and Tourette syndrome. His primary field of interest is Genetics of Movement Disorders.
