Biography

Katia Colombo received her M.Sc. in Psychology at the University of Milano-Bicocca in 2006 with a defence on “Involvement of the cerebellum in dyslexia”. She then obtained a cognitive and behavioural psychotherapy specialization.  From the year 2008, she worked as a psychologist and cognitive and behavioral psychotherapist at the Scientific Institute Eugenio Medea (Lecco, Italy). In her team, she follows children and adolescents with acquired brain lesions of different origins (traumatic, infectious, anoxic, vascular etiology) both during the post-acute phase and the rehabilitation. She is an author of international publications.
