Biography:

Dr. Giles Yeates is a clinical neuropsychologist with a clinical and research focus on emotions and relationships following acquired brain injury (ABI). His core therapy trainings include Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy, Mentalization-Based Therapy (basic training) and Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy. He is an internationally-invited and keynote speaker on couples, families and psychotherapies following ABI, and a past International Neuropsychoanalysis Fellow. He has written several articles and book chapters. He is co-author of “A Relational Approach to Rehabilitation: Thinking about Relationships after Brain Injury”, co-editor of the Karnac Books Brain Injury book series, and is editor of the journal “Neuro-Disability & Psychotherapy”.
