The 2013 Santa Clara Valley Brain Injury Conference being held February 28 - March 2, 2013 at the historic Dolce Hayes Mansion in San José, California includes two days of multi-disciplinary state of the art educational sessions focusing on issues related to brain injury treatment and research in both a military and civilian population.
In addition to two ½ day preconference sessions on Technology and Vision, scheduled keynote and plenary speakers include the Lystedt family, noted researchers Stephanie Kolakowsky-Hayner & M. Elizabeth Sandel, author Kate Adamson, and ethicist John Banja.
The conference also features over 40 additional lectures, panel discussions, interactive workshops, peer reviewed symposia, and poster presentations within 4 tracks: Medical Complexity; Innovative Interventions; Living After Brain Injury; and Special Populations.
Faculty, comprised of nationally and internationally recognized leaders in the field of brain injury will be joined by exhibitors sharing the latest innovations and information regarding services for individuals with brain injury and their families.
