Biography:

Dr. Chatelle studied Neuropsychology at the University of Brussels in Belgium. She received a PhD in Biomedical Sciences at the Coma Science Group (FNRS fellow, University of Liege, Belgium) on the assessment of pain and communication in patients with disorders of consciousness. She is currently working as an International Postdoctoral Research Fellow (Belgian American Educational Foundation and Wallonie Bruxelles International) in the Neurorehabilitation lab at the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, in Boston (Harvard Medical School, Dr. JT Giacino). Dr. Chatelle’s current research focus involves using electroencephalography based brain computer interfaces to detect evidence of command following in patients with disorders of consciousness and locked-in syndrome.
